Hi, my name is Joe. I got the nickname 'Panguitch Joe' from colleagues when I moved from Provo to Panguitch for a job in public mental health serving frontier America. I loved living in a small town and I grew to love the desert landscape of Southern Utah. I became a member of SOAK (Stoffers Outdoor Adventure Klub) and learned how to mountain bike, backpack, and canyoneer. Best of all, I did these activities with my wife, kids, and awesome friends. The places we explored were so beautiful and the company so great that I decided to bring my video camera to record the memories. I use YouTube for easy distribution of my videos to family and friends. My videos are part of my family history--important to a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints like me. It came as a gratifying surprise when people I didn't know started making positive comments on some of them. They encourage me to keep lugging the camera through trails of sucky-sand, slickrock, and pothole water.
