Welcome to Indigenous History Now! We are a nonprofit film studio dedicated to freely sharing the rich histories, cultures, and languages of the Indigenous peoples of North and South America and parts of Oceania from ancient eras all the way to the present day. Run by a team of Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists and scholars with backgrounds in American Indian studies and linguistics, we aim to dispel misconceptions and share accurate knowledge about the Indigenous past and present–drawing on both Western science and Indigenous Oral History and Traditional Knowledge to do so. Valuable knowledge comes from more than just a few sources, so we welcome and encourage your input to make our coverage of these topics better.
