Michael James Nelson is a comedy writer and performer working out of Los Angeles and New York. He’s written for many different television shows, including the Betty White’s Off Their Rockers on NBC and he just finished as a writer for the MTV Movie Awards hosted by Amy Schumer. Through these shows, Michael has written for Will Ferrell, Brad Pit, Chris Rock, Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum, Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen, Mark Wahlberg, The Rock, Jason Bateman, Danny McBride, Jimmy Fallon, Melissa McCarthy and many others. Michael’s performing credits include writing and starring in a half-hour hidden camera show for CBS called “Jokes On You” hosted by Jay Mohr. He’s also appeared on Will Ferrell and Adam McKay’s website “Funny or Die” alongside Don Cheadle, Ray Romano, Martin Sheen, Cedric “The Entertainer”, Rob Riggle and many others. In 2012, he performed in Comedy Central’s “Comics To Watch” showcase in Los Angeles.
