Known as C'Anthony, he was born in a marginal neighborhood in Santiago de Cuba in the eastern part of the island of Cuba. He started his artistic career at the age of 5 when he showed his interests on music. Thanks to that he kept himself away from the aggressive environment that surrounded him. During the first years he was influenced by the best exponents of urban music from Panama, Jamaica, Puerto Rico and USA. Rhythms like reggae, gospel, reggae morfa and reggaetón characterized his music during this period. He recorded his first independent demo "La conquista" when he was 12 years old. Two songs from this album were popular in Santiago and he began to be known as Mr. Yowi. At present, he is part of a duo called Top Secret. His goal is to guide young people from marginal neighborhoods to find a new way of expressing themselves through music. Recently, he signed a contract with Black Market Records to promote his music around the world.
