Asad Khan

I’m Asad Khan — a producer, musician, singer, and DJ. Formerly known as Khanvict, I built a career as a high-energy DJ, but that was only one part of me. Born in Pakistan and raised in Canada, my sound lives at the intersection of tradition and innovation. Born in Pakistan, I’m deeply influenced by mystic Sufi philosophy, the listening traditions passed down from my grandfather, and my mother’s poetic sensibility. I was fortunate to be exposed to the greats of Pakistani music — Mehdi Hassan, Noor Jahan, and Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan — from a very young age. Committed to high-fidelity sound, I work to bring depth and clarity to classical and folk-rooted music. I blend cinematic textures, rich low-end, and live instrumentation — drawing from Qawwali, Ghazal, and Indian classical music. My goal is to create timeless, high-fidelity music that connects: to self, to spirit, and between worlds - Inshallah.
