When you’ve decided it’s time for a complete lifestyle change..... you sell everything you own, house and kitchen sink included...... We are a married couple from Hertfordshire, UK, in our mid 40’s, we rescued Maya in Mexico. We had a 10 year plan…. pay the mortgage off, rent the house out and travel the world. That plan would be have been about 8 years away (writing this in Jan 2021). After losing a parent each, in quick succession in 2019, we decided we wanted more out of life. We both had great careers but worked long hours, often in stressful environments that we think would have been the end of us eventually… We shipped our truck and camper, (our rig) from Southampton, UK to Veracruz, Mexico in July 2021. We plan to travel for as long and as far as we can, starting in the Americas.
