This Channel provides Dallas CTC volunteers with Tax Enhancements to provide additional training resources. THIS CHANNEL DOES NOT PROVIDE ENOUGH TRAINING TO PASS THE IRS TAX CERTIFICATION. Foundation Communities is a nonprofit organization providing North Texas families and individuals the opportunity to reach financial stability through a multitude of programs, including free income tax preparation through our Community Tax Centers, and this is where you come in! Volunteers work directly with families to provide tax services at one of our tax centers. We teach you everything you need to know in a required training, rather you want to become a tax preparer, help with greeting clients, translating for families who speak minimal English, or volunteer assisting with marketing or main office duties. Our volunteers get personal satisfaction from helping families fulfill IRS tax requirements at no cost and making a real impact in the community.
