After truck driving kept them apart for over 10 years, this family of four decided there had to be another way. They built a logistics company from the ground up, which provided a unique opportunity. Selling their home and belongings, they hit the open road as modern day nomads. Last summer, while visiting the Rocky Mountains for the first time, they learned of a method of travel and adventure that struck interest...one which includes living mobile off-the-grid in some of the most breathtaking places this country has to offer. Last year, they camped the mountains using a 4x4 Suburban...but the kids are growing and more space is needed so currently, they are building a family home out of a school bus.
