One of the most talked about voices in gospel music today belongs to 3x 2023 Stellar Award winning, Grammy & BET Award Nominee & Award-winning songwriter, Zacardi Cortez. Born in Houston, TX, Cortez hails from a singing family of faith. At the age of 5 he began singing in church. At age 8, John P. Kee, adopted him as a spiritual son & began mentoring him. For a while, Cortez sang with Kee’s V.I.P. Mass Choir & sang a solo on 'Live at the Fellowship' in 01. He later made guest appearances on recordings by Kurt Carr, Bishop Paul S.
