Chris Brubeck

Chris Brubeck has been making music nearly all his life. A multi-instrumentalist (electric bass, bass trombone & piano) and composer, he is at home in multiple genres. He's had rock-n-roll bands, played in his dad Dave Brubeck's quartet for many years, has his own groups: Chris Brubeck's Triple Play, an acoustic blues/funk/jazz/Americana trio with Joel Brown on guitar and Peter Madcat Ruth on harmonica and the Brubeck Brothers Quartet, a jazz quartet of international reknown with Chris on bass and trombone, brother Dan Brubeck on drums, Chuck Lamb on piano and Mike DeMicco on guitar. In addition, orchestras around the world have commissioned Chris to write pieces for them, and for some of today's top popular musicians such as: Time for Three, Canadian Brass, Sharon Isbin, and Jaime Laredo and Sharon Robinson.
