Benson Family Farms — YouTube Channel Statistics

This is a place for videos of life on our rural farm. We're Jason and Casandra Benson. We raise grass-finished Angus beef on our homestead/farmstead in North Alabama. We grew up on neighboring farms on Merrill Mountain in the Appalachian Mountain foothills. Now we live on part of Casandra's family farm overlooking the Tennessee River where we are raising two sons and two daughters. We operate our farms in a way that is respectful of the natural seasonality of the herd and typically harvest beef two times a year in the spring and the fall. With our children growing up here, this has become a fourth-generation family cattle farm. When we're not taking care of the animals or working on fences, we like to cook. Especially on the flattop and smoker. We also like off-roading, trail riding, racing, etc. Pretty much anything with a motor. And we've always got any number of projects going in various stages of completion.
