In these videos i travel the Norwegian coast by sailboat, I'm anchoring out when ever possible, some facts about our coast: 1: We have a coastline (counting only the mainland) of approximately 24000 km, in addition we have somthing like 239000 islands. If we count every rock and scharies sticking up you can add another 81192 to that number. Total coastline included everything is about 100000 km. 2: we have about 1000000 pleasure crafts in Norway. in spite of this most Norwegians hurry from marina to marina. I trye to avoid marinas and the most popular anchorages. This migt give of a unrealistic sense of peace and unspoilt nature, but i try to be as realistic as I can. Not all of my anchorings are done in marked anchorages. And anchoing in places like this increases the danger factor significantly. Dont copy what i do, that can put you, your equipment, your life and other people's lives in danger. And please keep the nature clean.
