The channel of the cellist Marcel Johannes Kits and the violinist Katariina Maria Kits (both born on the 2nd of May, 1995). Born on the 2nd of May 1995, in Tallinn, Estonia. Katariina’s musical studies started at the age of six. In 2002, she became a student at the Tallinn Music High school, firstly in Marge Lille’s class, then in 2004-2014 in Tiiu Peäske's class. From 2014-2016 she studied with prof. Svetlana Makarova. Since September 2016 she is studying with prof. Marina Chiche in the Trossingen Music University. Katariina has performed over 40 concerts with orchestras as a soloist: Tallinn Chamber Orchestra, Estonian National Opera Orchestra, Estonian National Youth Symphony Orchestra, Virumaa Chamber Orchestra, Tallinn Music High School symphony orchestra, Pärnu City orchestra, Haapsalu City orchestra, Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, and Vaasa City orchestra. She has toured Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia as a soloist, orchestra and chamber musician.
