Pablo Martínez

Described as “sensitive and thoughtful” (Volksstimme), Spanish-born, U.S.-based pianist Pablo Martínez has built a career shaped by both Spain and the United States. Born in Alzira, València, he has appeared at venues including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., the National Auditorium of Music in Madrid, the Mozarteum in Salzburg, the Juan March Foundation, the Manuel de Falla Auditorium in Granada, the Palau de la Música de València, and the Palau de les Arts. A prizewinner of several international piano competitions, Martínez has appeared at leading Spanish festivals including Clásicos en Ruta (AIE), the Festival del Mediterrani, the Granada International Festival of Music and Dance, and Juventudes Musicales de España. Now based in Houston, Texas, he is recognized for his commitment to Spanish and Hispanic piano repertoire and his role as an ambassador of Spanish music in the United States.
