The Vinton Counrt Courier is a multi-media, weekly & online publication We are your community news leader. The Courier Staff Michael O'Brien is staff journalist and associate editor. He has a B.S. in Communication from Scripps College of Communication at Ohio University where he majored in politics and media studies. Michael was a staff columnist for the InterActivist magazine covering veterans and military affairs and he worked for many years as an Internet content writer. A member of the Society of Professional Journalists, Michael resides in rural Athens County. mobrien@vintoncourier.com Rhonda Brotherton is Office Manager/Classified Sales/Reporter for the Courier. After moving to Vinton County in 2011 with her husband and two children, Rhonda was an elementary school substitute teacher.
