Jay Jones Headbanging Country

Jay Jones is an outlaw country singer and songwriter from Memphis, Tennessee. Growing up in the South, Jones’s influences include a diverse mix of ZZ Top, Hank Williams, Jr., Muddy Waters, Elvis and more. Jones was introduced to Grammy nominated producer Justin Rimer and together created his first album “Country Boy Proud.” The album has a mixed sound of country rock, which Jones calls headbanging country. While performing at the Honey Island Swamp Fest Jones was introduced to John Schneider and later Keith Burns. Both artists became sponsors for Jones to The Academy of Country Music, which Jones became a member in 2024. Jones has opened for headliners such as Keith Burns, Saliva, John Schneider, Buckcherry, Tyler Farr, Stryper, and others.
