Please join me as I pursue my pilot license! My name is Michael Heldt, originally a financial advisor straight out of college, and most recently, and currently, "Mortgage Mike", a home loan professional of almost 20 years. I've always had a passion for aviation from childhood. I had the big foam glider that lost it's wing on every "landing", and the little diecast commercial airline jets I would "fly around". Heck, I was the kid who listened to Air Traffic Control instead of the radio when plugged into the United arm rest on flights. I'm recently 48 years old and have decided to just give it a shot after tons of research and investigation. As word has spread, I receive tons of questions, am surprised how many of my friends have similar dreams, and realize that despite all the resources on the Web, there are still questions not being answered.
