We've had this for a few months now and it has yet to slip off our bed. We bought this to provide a cooling barrier to prevent us from overheating on our memory foam mattress. We use it wool side up (even in the warm weather) and this in combination with a waterproof mattress cover and some bamboo sheets has dramatically reduced the amount of heat trapped by our mattress (it still gets warm, but not anywhere near as hot as it got when we weren't using it). The package arrived on time, and it didn't have that weird smell that other people complained about. I also have a pretty bad dust allergy and so far this has not affected me at all (the bamboo sheets are hypoallergenic as well). I would definitely recommend this product for comfort and cooling..
