I am taking back my LIFE! It really IS all about the FOOD! I transitioned to a HCLF plant based diet in January 2017. I made this decision for health when I developed a side effect to a blood pressure medication I had been taking for over 15 years. I set a goal to loose weight and get off all prescription medications. My journey led me to Dr. McDougall, Dr. Greger, and Forks over Knives. The changes I made with them in mind have truly changed my life. I started at a weight of 202lbs. I set a goal of 30 lbs to loose the first year. I met that goal in 10 months and was able to leave behind all prescription medications! I have more energy and am able to stand and walk again. I am no longer the old woman in the motorized shopping cart. I have taken back my life.
