From 1980 to 2015, I have had the pleasure of providing expert analysis and commentary for almost every NJ HS Ice Hockey game ever televised or streamed. It started with Suburban Cablevision’s TV3, which transitioned into The Comcast Network, CN8. Next came three State Championship games on the YES Network in 2003. SportsNetAmerica picked up the slack and streamed league and state games in the following years. Soon after, MSGVarsity burst onto the picture with top flight productions of regional HS hockey. Fios1 broadcasts brings us up to 2015. I have either commented on their play or sent to the penalty box, all 4 kids who GRADUATED from a NJ HS and play/played in the NHL. (Jim Dowd, George Parros, Trevor Van Riemsdyke, and Kenny Agostino). I am proud to be a thread in the fabric of HS hockey in NJ.
