OUR BELIFES We believe that all Scripture is inspired by God, and that the Bible constitutes the foundation for everything we believe in. (1 Peter 1:20-21; 2 Tim. 3:15-17) We believe that Jesus, the Son of God, died for our sins, and after rising from the grave, He now offers the free gift of grace to anyone who accepts it. Salvation is not something to be worked toward. We'll never be good enough to make it to heaven on our own. All we have to do is accept God's gift of eternal life, and accept His life transforming Spirit. It's that simple. (John 3:16; 1 Peter 1:18-21; Rom. 3:23-26, 6:23.) We believe that the great principles of God's law are embodied in the Ten Commandments and exemplified in the life of Christ. They express God's love, will, and purposes concerning human conduct and relationships and are binding upon all people in every age. (Ex. 20:1-17; Ps. 40:7, 8; Matt. 22:36-40; Deut. 28:1-14; Matt. 5:17-20; Heb. 8:8-10; John 15:7-10; Eph. 2:8-10;1 John 5:3; Rom. 8:3, 4.)
