The name “39” comes from san-kyu (3 = san, 9 = kyu), meaning “thank you.” This channel is my way of expressing gratitude for the beauty and stories that connect us across cultures. What began during 2020 as a fun project with my son has grown into a journey of creativity and discovery. Life has brought me to California, but my heart remains in Japan, and I continue to share the hidden wonders of both countries.
