Studying the Bible is important to the followers of Jesus Christ because understanding the meaning and the Scripture is one of the most important duty of the believers. We are not just read the Bible, we must meditate it day and night, so that it will make our way prosperous, and then we will have good success (Joshua 1:9). Paul encourages his fellow worker, Timothy to study the Word of God correctly and apply it properly (2 Timothy 2:15).
