Why a seperate channel for the Podcast?
Creating this channel is an experiment to try and help our videos get recommended more often by the algorithm. In theory, posting long format content like a podcast to our main channel will bring down the overall average watch time. And, because average watch time is a metric so heavily weighted in the YouTube algorithm, that is - YouTube throttles channels with low AWT, posting the podcasts on the main channel is killing it's reach.
